The April Edit: Everything Our Editors Are Loving This Month

April is when the world wakes up. Warmer days, longer evenings, a change in what we want to wear and how we want to spend our time—everything shifts. I reach for my favorite linen pieces when I’m getting dressed in the morning, and I open up space on my calendar for activities that make me feel energized and alive.
This month’s Editors’ Picks are rooted in that feeling. Pieces that ease us into warm-weather dressing (spring fashion trends here), beauty and wellness staples that support a sun-kissed glow, and home finds that make us feel like letting the light in. Think of it as a bridge into summer—simple upgrades that help you step into the months ahead feeling light, confident, and completely at ease.

In Our Closets
My Everyday Tee, Perfected
The fabric of this tee is next-level soft, and the fit is truly perfect—easy, flattering, and never too tight or boxy. I’ve been wearing mine nonstop: layered under everything, to work out, even to sleep, and it somehow does it all. It’s one of those effortless staples you reach for daily and can’t live without. – Anna Decker, Social Media & E-Commerce Manager

The Most Chic Finishing Touch for Summer
This is one of those bags that just makes your outfit—it has that easy, French-girl charm that feels elevated but still totally relaxed. The woven raffia and leather details give it a really beautiful texture, and it somehow works with everything from linen dresses to denim. It’s the kind of piece you’ll wear on repeat all summer and never get tired of. – Camille Styles, Editor in Chief

The Rug That Defined My Apartment
Living in a small, open-concept apartment means I’m always looking for ways to create distinct little zones. Rugs are the easiest way to do that, and this burgundy/pink wool rug instantly anchored my dining area. The color adds warmth without overwhelming the room, and the texture makes the space feel layered and intentional. Bonus: my cats have completely claimed it as their favorite lounging spot. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist

Dessert Plates I Can’t Wait to Display
I’ve decided to amp up the charm in my kitchen this spring and want to add a plate wall. I fell in love with these darling dessert plates from Rifle Paper’s new Home Sweet Home collection, and I can’t wait to display them! – Kristen Garaffo, Design Editor

My Favorite Way to Make Coffee at Home
Typing this as I enjoy a cup of coffee I made with my sage green Palmpress. This thing has changed the game for me, a Coffee Lover. It’s a mix between a French press and a pourover—a simple, no-power device can make anything from a single cup to espresso. I’m not yet ready to invest in an espresso machine, so I’ll just use the Palmpress to make a shot, add some frothed milk, and it’s a cappuccino on par with my local coffee shop. I’ve even ground up some beans and taken the whole thing with me in my purse—just add hot water. – Brittany Chatburn, Marketing Director

The Protein Shortcut I’m Into Right Now
As a huge fan of Elmhurst and their line of nut milks (especially the Walnut Milk, I’m obsessed), I was so stoked to find their new protein line. The ingredient list is amazing, the flavor is so so good, and I love that they’re the perfect grab-and-go option for when I’m heading to the gym. Plus, I may have turned a few of my drinks into a protein creami ice cream with my Ninja Creami, and let’s just say: hitting my protein goals has never been easier. – Suruchi Avasthi, Food Editor & Photographer

The Supplement That Made Me Better at Drinking Water
I’ve always had trouble drinking enough water. Recently, I’ve started habit-stacking my water intake with my supplement routine by adding the Imbibe Beauty Renewal supplement to my water in the morning, and I’ve seen a massive difference. It tastes amazing (thanks to the elderberry, pomegranate, and coconut water that deliver antioxidants as well as a subtle flavor!), so I end up drinking way more water. Plus, it’s great for gut health (which is strongly linked to glowing skin!), preventing breakouts, and keeping skin hydrated. I definitely notice a difference when I skip it for a few days in a row. – Langa Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

My Go-To Protein Bar for Busy Days
I’ve finally found a protein bar that checks all the boxes and genuinely tastes GOOD. It packs almost 15 grams of protein—including collagen!—and doesn’t have any weird ingredients. I love that they’re sweetened with honey (and not anything artificial or chemical-y). My fave flavor is birthday cake chocolate chip, but you can’t go wrong with any of these bars. They’re so delicious! I always have a Stars + Honey bar in my bag—either for me or my boys who love them as well. – Edie Horstman, Wellness Editor

The Serum That Gives Me My “No Makeup” Glow
I’ve been using this serum morning and night for the past couple of months, and it’s become one of those products I don’t want to be without. It gives my skin an immediate, natural glow—no shimmer, no stickiness, just that healthy, lit-from-within look. Over time, I’ve also noticed my skin tone looking more even. On days when I skip makeup entirely, this is the product that makes me still feel polished. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist

My Shortcut to Smelling Instantly Put Together
This Salt and Stone fragrance mist has such a clean, effortless smell—a little woody, with saffron, jasmine, and cedarwood that make it feel elevated and easy to wear every day. I get complimented on it all the time, and I love that it’s one of those rare scents that feels truly evergreen. It’s versatile, polished, and the kind of finishing touch that makes you feel instantly pulled together. – Tatom Hoffmann, Marketing Intern

A Self-Tanner That Actually Smells Amazing
I love a fake tan, but I don’t love the smell. (IYKYK.) I decided to try Lux Unfiltered, a new-to-me brand that has a variety of scented lotions, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it has no tan smell at all. I have the Rosewood scent, and it smells incredible. Not to mention, I get a great tan every time I use it. I can’t wait to use it this summer! – Kristen Garaffo, Design Editor

A Budget-Friendly Fix for Sleepy Under-Eyes
I started using the RoC Derm Correxion Retinol Eye Repair Dark Circle Cream Treatment with niacinamide when my under-eyes were looking especially tired, and it’s been such a solid, affordable find. It’s one of those easy staples that works in the background of your routine but actually makes a difference. – Anna Decker, Social Media & E-Commerce Manager

Hand Soap That Earned a Spot in Every Room
This might be one of my most indulgent purchases recently, but the amount of joy this hand soap has brought me is incredible. The scent is super refreshing, plus with its exfoliating and hydrating benefits, this soap is really an all-rounder in both my kitchen and bathroom. – Suruchi Avasthi, Food Editor & Photographer

A Gentle Serum With Serious Results
Meet my new favorite skin milk. I love a milky serum for my skin—I find they’re more shelf stable and pill less than gels—and this one delivers results for both texture and pigment. I am very picky about products that claim to help clear dark spots (most of them don’t… ), but this one has all the magic ingredients: tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, and niacinamide. – Langa Chinyoka, Beauty Editor

In Our Routines
The Sleep Upgrade I’m Fully Committing To
I’m in my “sleep is the ultimate luxury” era this year—earlier nights, no blue light after 9, and anything that makes bedtime feel like a ritual instead of a routine. This silk sleep mask has become my favorite part of winding down. It’s plush, cloud-soft, and truly blackout, which makes a surprising difference in how deeply I sleep. Plus, the mulberry silk feels like a tiny skincare treatment happening while I rest. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist

What I’ve Been Reading Lately
My reading stack this month has been a mix of ambition, reflection, and a little bit of escapism. Bootstrap Empire by Natalie Holloway (bala co-founder and CEO) explores the mindset behind building something from nothing, while How to Live a Meaningful Life offers surprisingly practical wisdom on designing a life that actually feels aligned. Tara Narula’s The Healing Power of Resilience is a thoughtful reminder of how adaptable we really are, and The Found Object Society by Michelle Maryk delivered the immersive fiction I always crave at the end of the day. It’s been the kind of reading month that makes you pause and reconsider what you want your life to look like. – Isabelle Eyman, Editorial Strategist
