The State Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” Will Perform at the Dubai Opera

• Concert of the Moscow Virtuosi Orchestra at the Dubai Opera on Monday, January 17, 2022, with the participation of maestro Vladimir Spivakov and soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Anna Aglatova. 

• The event was organized by the Government of Moscow as part of the promotion of the application of the Russian capital for the right to host the EXPO in 2030

• Founded in 1979, the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra gives over 100 concerts a year from America to Asia.

Dubai, UAE, 15th Jan 2022, ZEXPRWIRE, On Monday, January 17, a concert of the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra will be held at the Dubai Opera, organized by the Moscow Government as part of the promotion of the Russian capital’s bid for the right to host the EXPO in 2030.

The chamber orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” has existed since 1979. The renowned group of musicians – laureates and laureates of international and all-Russian competitions are distinguished by their professionalism and skill, as well as high ethics of relations. For us, as maestro Vladimir Spivakov says, creativity has become a need, and work has become an art, which, according to Pablo Picasso, “washes away the dust of everyday life”.

Every year “Virtuosi of Moscow” give more than 100 concerts, mainly on tour. The geography of the tours is very extensive: it includes all regions of Russia, the territory of the former Soviet Union, European countries, the USA and Japan. In all countries Virtuosos give their concerts not only in the best and most prestigious concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Musikverrain in Vienna, the Royal Festival Hall and Albert Hall in London, the Pleyel Theater and the Champs Elysees in Paris, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, but also in the usual venues of small towns.

The outstanding violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov has been the permanent artistic director and chief conductor of the chamber orchestra since its inception. It is thanks to maestro Spivakov, his many years of painstaking work with the orchestra, that the Moscow Virtuosi are among the best chamber orchestras in the world with a permanent and grateful audience all over the world, recognition and the highest reputation won over the years of hard and creative work.

About Moscow’s bid to host EXPO-2030

In April 2021, Russia was the first to nominate Moscow for the right to host EXPO – 2030. The subject of Moscow’s application is  “Progress of mankind. A common vision of a harmonious world ”.   

Russia has been participating in the EXPO since the very first exhibition in 1851 in London, the Russian pavilions have been repeatedly recognized as the best, and the demonstrated domestic inventions have repeatedly received prestigious awards. But at the same time, Russia has never held an EXPO.     

If Moscow wins, the exhibition will be held from April 27 to October 27, 2030.
