Africa Imports Celebrates 20 Years of Being the Largest Provider of African Products in Black History Month

South Hackensack, NJ, 17th Feb 2022, ZEXPRWIRE, February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate the achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. This year, Africa Imports is proud to be celebrating their 20th anniversary as the largest provider of African products in America. 

Africa Imports started in 1999, and for 1 year before this, the founder travelled across the US finding customers and learning the market; and in Africa putting together sources of supply. Today they supply thousands of customers in the United States and employs 24 people in their New Jersey facility.

They now provide more than 5,000 different product ideas including products created across many different African countries. Africa Imports also uses the profits of the business to purchase food and other needs for orphans in Africa. This includes schooling, medical care, and skills training for vulnerable women and others in need.
