Delhi’s 10 hottest jobs: AI, weddings, horticulture lead the pack

Artificial Intelligence, wedding planning, horticulture, and brand management are the segments dominating the 10 fastest-growing job markets in India’s capital, New Delhi, over the past three years.
A new survey of the employment scenario in Delhi, released by the job-oriented social networking site LinkedIn on Wednesday, revealed the ten top jobs in demand in the capital.
In order of merit, these are as follows:
1. AI Engineers: They build, design, and deploy Artificial Intelligence systems to train Machine Learning models, automate complex tasks, and integrate AI into products and services. The sector in Delhi is male-dominated, with companies hiring 83 per cent men and 17 per cent females.
2. Director of Artificial Intelligence: They guide the vision and governance of, and integration of, AI initiatives to align research, product, and operations with organisational goals. The gender skew in this market is also clear, with 82 per cent male hires in 2025 and only 18 per cent  females.
3. Accounting Coordinators: They support financial operations by managing records, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate reporting. Skills involved are account reconciliation, and the most common industries deploying these professionals are travel, IT services, and IT consultancies.
4. Regulatory Compliance Analysts: They ensure organizational practices meet legal standards by monitoring laws and assessing risks. Auditing, legal compliance, and risk assessment are the common skills needed in this job, where females marginally outnumbered male hires—52 per cent and 48 per cent, respectively, in 2025.
5. Brand Designers: They create visual elements and messaging, and create assets for a brand to express its identity and engage people. Design services, recreational establishments, and computer and electronics manufacturing firms are hiring this talent, with an equal representation of females and males last year.
6. Wedding Planners: They organise and coordinate all aspects of a wedding, from logistics and timelines to budget management and event design. Females dominated the market, with a 60 per cent share.
7. President of Sales: They lead strategy and teams, and drive revenue growth, aligning customer insights, market opportunities, and organisational resources to achieve targets. The market had 85 per cent male and only 15 per cent female hires in 2025.
8. Fleet Managers: They oversee fleet operations, including routing, maintenance, and safety, to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery. Companies hiring this talent include Technology, Information and Internet, and Transportation. This segment is wholly male-centric, with 98% of hires being men in 2025.
9. Horticulturists: They study, cultivate, and care for plants to enhance growth, health, and sustainable landscapes. Real estate firms and farming groups are hiring these talents. The job market is again male-dominated, with 93 per cent of people hired last year being males.
10. Supply Chain Directors: They lead end-to-end supply chain functions, aligning procurement, production, and distribution with business goals. Food and beverage industries, IT Services and consultancies, and Tech, IT, and Internet are hiring people with this skill set. In this segment, companies hired 73 per cent males and only 27 per cent females.
